At Hadley Care, we understand the vital role care workers play in supporting lives every day. Despite their dedication, many care workers face immense challenges, including financial hardship, mental health pressures, and difficult decisions about how to provide for their families.
That’s why we are proud to support the Care Workers’ Charity, an organisation dedicated to creating a society where no care worker faces adversity alone.
Why This Matters
Care workers are the backbone of our communities, yet they experience some of the highest levels of stress and mental health challenges across all professions. The Care Workers’ Charity steps in to provide much-needed financial assistance, mental health support, and critical grants in times of need. They’ve already supported over 12,000 care workers with grants totalling more than £6.1 million—making a life-changing difference for so many.
How You Can Help
The charity’s work relies on the support of individuals and organisations who care about the future of social care. By getting involved, you can help:
• Improve mental health among care workers.
• Strengthen the social care sector and its workforce.
• Support families and reduce inequality in society.
Upcoming Events
The Care Workers’ Charity also hosts a variety of events throughout the year to bring people together and raise awareness. Here are just a few:
• January: Step Up for Care – Start the year with a challenge and join a Brew Monday coffee morning.
• July: Make Memories Together – Spend quality time with family and friends through fun events.
• September: Advocate for Care – Celebrate Professional Care Workers Week.
• December: Finish Strong for Care – End the year by standing up for those who care, with a festive Winter Prize Draw.
For a full schedule of their events in 2025 see the attached document.
